1. The ARCs for The Legend Thief were mailed last week and I expect them to arrive any day now. As soon as I get them, I will announce the winner (and possibly winners, depending on how many I get).
2. The release dates for the Return to Exile paperback and The Legend Thief hardcover have shifted to March. Why? I have no idea. Sadly, my editor joined the FBI back in May (yes, you heard right: the FBI) and I still don't have a new one. S&S is in the processes of hiring a new editor, at which point, I hope to get things straightened out. Stay tuned.
3. You guys are awesome. Thanks for all the nice things you've said about Return to Exile. Every time I see one of your comments, it brightens my day and makes me smile.

thats great that the ARC(s) are on there way, my boys and i are so excited. on the other hand it sticks that its been pushed back to march. I've read back through a number of your post and didn't see anywhere were you have said how may books we can expect to see in the serries, or possably other books we should be looking out for. do you have anything else in the works.
My agent is working with S&S to move the release date for The Legend Thief back to December. I don't know if they'll do it, but I'll keep you posted. As to how many books will appear in the series...well, that's up in the air. I'm hoping for six. S&S is working to hire a new editor. Once they do, that editor will inherit my series and we'll talk about how many books there will be.
As for new books, I have some in the mix--including a new series--but the whole "neck surgery" thing threw off my writing for a while so, unfortunately, you won't see them in stores anytime soon. Having said that, I'm hoping to have some exciting news to share in the next few months, news that's even more exciting than my winning bid on that striped top hat on Ebay. Okay, I didn't win a striped top hat on Ebay, but it would be awesome if I did.
Thanks and good luck.
